The Jedi School was a Jedi training center on Tatooine, created by Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, head of the New Jedi Order. The School would see many initiates pass through on their way to Knighthood. However, in 9 ABY, Emperor Bacharan Valak, Dark Lord of the Sith, corrupted the mind of one Force adept, Cort Stasus, and forced the young man into executing the Third Jedi Purge which saw the destruction of the School and the death of many apprentices of the fledging Order.
Afterwards, the Jedi would relocate to the bluffs along Corellia. The tradition of the school would live on through this safehouse on Corellia, and later at the Jedi Basilica on Coruscant, and the New Jedi Temple on Ord Mantell.
