High Marshal is a military rank typically associated with members of a starfighter corps, most notibly the Imperial Starfighter Corps. It encompasses the highest level of commissioned officer in a starfighter corps, referred to as a Flag Officer.

Template:Rank plate In the Imperial Starfighter Corps, A High Marshal oversaw all aspects of starfighter operations assigned to an entire sector. This usually was composed of multiple Fleet Flights consisting of tens of thousands of ships and hundreds of thousands officers and enlisted. Holding the rank of High Marshal was considered a greatest accomplishment in the Imperial Starfighter Corps, as the power and authority that came with the rank was highly significant along with it was the last rank prior to Moff. They were addressed as Marshal. If appointed as a staff officer they would act as an aide to a Moff.
One High Marshal was appointed Chief of Starfighter Operations and reported directly to the Grand Admiral's Council and the Chief of Naval Operations. The post of Chief of Starfighter Operations always held this rank.
A High Marshal was equivalent to a High Admiral in the Imperial Navy.
