The Battle of Kamino was a tactical victory achieved by the New Republic. A New Republic attack force invaded Kamino and deployed New Republic Marines under Wrista Ipex to destroy Tipoca City, home to a major clone production facility for the Imperial Military. During the battle, the Sith Empire arrived with a scouting force of its own, and deployed its own troops to Tipoca to cause chaos during the fighting. By battle's end, Tipoca was destroyed and the clone facility shut down.
