The Adjustments were the most elite branch of Imperial Intelligence, consisting of agents who received their orders directly from the Ubiqtorate, the commanding body of Imperial Intelligence. The mission of an Adjustment was usually intended for a critical situation that the Ubiqtorate felt had slipped from the control of Imperial Intelligence and beyond the normal capacities for the organization's bureaus. Adjustments would be briefed on the situation and what resources were available to solve it, and then Adjustments would then solve the problem. No records of their orders were ever kept, nor did any of their mission files make its way to Sector Plexus.
